research addresses the concept of trials and adversities from both an Islamic and psychological perspective, focusing on the impact of faith in divine decree (Qadar) and patience on mental health and psychological resilience. The study is based on the premise that hardships are an inevitable part of human life and that they are not merely sources of suffering, but can also serve as means of spiritual and psychological growth when approached through a sound faith-based framework.
The research aims to highlight the role of belief in Allah, acceptance of divine destiny, and patience in alleviating the psychological effects of stress and traumatic experiences. This is achieved through the analysis of selected examples from the lives of the prophets, illustrating their steadfastness, patience, and certainty in times of severe trials. In addition, the study explores the concept of patience in its various forms and examines its relationship with mental well-being, emotional balance, and the ability to adapt to life’s challenges. The research adopts a descriptive-analytical methodology, drawing upon Islamic sources such as the Qur’an and Sunnah, alongside contemporary psychological studies on resilience and recovery from trauma. The findings indicate that strong faith in divine decree significantly enhances psychological stability and resilience, and that patience represents an active inner strength rather than a passive response, contributing to the development of a balanced personality capable of facing adversities with hope and perseverance
